Pediatric visits

Pediatric visit

in case of acute illness, sick child visit (20 mins)

The visit starts with a conversation to survey the medical history and current problems, after which a physical examination of the child occurs. When the doctor deems other diagnostic tests or rapid tests necessary, they offer the options to the parents, and they decide together. Based on all this, the doctor discusses the medical advice and other possible problems with the parents. They can also advise on follow-ups or other examinations. The above will be recorded on the outpatient report and uploaded to the e-healthcare cloud (EESZT).

Follow-up visit

on the doctor’s advice (10 mins)

The doctor may recommend a follow-up visit after the first one if they find it reasonable based on professional considerations. For example, to monitor the condition of children and their appropriate response to therapy in case of otitis media, bronchitis, or pneumonia.

Extended consultation

pediatric examination in case of protracted illness or multiple complaints (40 mins)

When complaints have been present for a long time, when there are more medical history or test results to review, or when discussing several complaints or problems would be necessary.

Online video consultation

for one kid (20 mins) or for two kids (30 mins)

Whether it’s an acute childhood illness, matters related to healthy development, or discussing lab test results, the service is available comfortably from home, on vacation, or abroad. Telemedicine can determine the urgency of care, the following diagnostic step, and, in most cases, the necessary therapy. When a physical examination is unavoidable for proper professional care, the doctor might propose an in-person visit.

Internet connection and a device (mobile phone or laptop) are required. The consultation takes place via Google Meet.

After booking an appointment, we will inform you via email about further steps.

Pediatric nephrology visit

The visit starts with a conversation to survey the medical history and current problems, with special attention to urinary tract complaints. Afterwards a physical examination and a urinalysis take place. The doctor may also recommend additional diagnostic tests. If high blood pressure is suspected, they place a 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitor (ABPM) to evaluate later. Based on all this, the doctor discusses the medical advice and other possible problems with the parents. The above will be recorded on the outpatient report and uploaded to the e-healthcare cloud (EESZT).
