Besides high-quality pediatric care backed by diagnostic equipment, we consider communication particularly important—to ensure that parents, understandably concerned, have the time to ask their questions and receive clear and reassuring answers to them. We consider it essential that they understand what and why is happening to their child, and we eventually make decisions with medical expertise supporting parental experiences and observations, also thinking together when necessary.
